A place to rest

Here is a small village in the south of the Aegean Region, a perfect place to spend a slowly bleeding time.

iPhone photographs are a selection of daily published street photographs. To follow me and see all my published iPhonography see me on Google+ and Instagram.

Location photographs' editing is limited to enhancement and correction i.e. to pose, filtering and contrast masks, and some time very limited cosmetic retouching but no photo manipulation is applied as long as not specifically indicated. The aim is to reproduce what we once were able to do in the dark-room with photo-enlargers. There is no heavy rework with editing software. The aim is to be as close as possible to what I intent to capture, just as it is: the composition is made by chance, anyone or Mother Nature, the settings and the click are made by my myself.

Still-life/Studio photographs, compositions and essays may see some more intensive laboratory work but it is still photography not digital artwork.
